2019 GREAT AMERICAN LANCAIR RALLY
Continuing the tradition begun with the delightful 2018 Western US Rally, the 2019 Rally will be a multi-stage “grand tour” of the Eastern US.
Starting and ending in Central Texas, the Rally will take place in September 2019.
The Great American Lancair Rally is open to all Lancair owners, potential owners and interested aviators.
FLEXIBLE. FUN. FRIENDLY.
To make the Rally accessible to more owners, we’ve built plenty of flexibility into the schedule. Participants may fly the entire tour or join just for a leg or two. Lancair is the overall sponsor of the Rally, but we are actively seeking venue sponsors/hosts for each stop along the way.
GET IN ON THE CONVERSATION.
The itinerary is developing rapidly and we encourage ideas and suggestions for stopover airports, event venues, educational workshops and/or flying activities. Members of the Lancair Owners and Builders Organization (LOBO) may also post their thoughts on the LancairTalk.net Fly-ins and Gatherings forum.
This is your chance to help define this annual gathering of Lancair owners, pilots and enthusiasts. Post your suggestions and thoughts about education, social events, guest speakers – even ideas for some good-natured flying competition. Just click on the button below:
The Great American Lancair Rally provided a treasure trove of experiences, new friends and some real educational content. The 2018 tour spanned more than 3,000 nautical miles, 7 awesome venues, 11 days together and 20 hours of flying each aircraft through 9 states. We experienced not a single maintenance issue or weather complication the entire trip – again a testimony to the incredible aircraft we all fly. Our intent was to combine education with flying experiences and throw in some great social time with fellow Lancair owners and enthusiasts and without a doubt we exceeded all expectations.
